On Sunday Chancelor had his first soccer game. It was exciting. The kids played really good for it being their first year of real soccer. For those of you that don't understand what I mean I'll take a moment to explain. Chance has played soccer for two years. The first age group that the children are allowed to play in isn't really organized. The coaches are on the field during the entire game, there is no score taken, there isn't anyone playing goalie, and there are no referee's. This year however is a different age group. It's just like real soccer. Although the kids played good on Sunday, our team lost 4 to 1. It was a learning expierence for coaches, parents, and the children. Our next game is Sunday at 1:30.
Chance has had a really good week at school and I am so proud of him. He brought home 4 bands on Wednesday and 5 bands on Thursday, hopefully we can finish out the week the same :) Yesterday Chance rode the bus home and refused to get off. I got a phone call saying that I needed to have a talk with him when he got home about getting off the bus, because the bus driver was about to take him back to the school. What???? The person that called said the bus driver was on the way back to my house, so I said that I'd have someone at the end of the driveway waiting for him. When Chance got off the bus and we got home I asked him why he refused to get off the bus the first time and he told me because it was raining. Haha! I told him that from now on when he rode the bus and the bus got to his house he needed to get off regardless of if it was raining.
The kids have enjoyed being outside this week. Playing with each other, playing alone, playing with cousins...it really didn't matter to them as long as they were outside. Thank God for the cooler, yet beautiful weather.
Lastly I'd like to welcome my newest niece into the world. Ariana Nicole was born on September 24th at 4:58am. She weighed 5 lbs 6 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long. Remember her and her family in your prayers. She was born a month early but both baby and mother seem to be doing great.
Until next time....May God Bless you and your family!!!
Love ya!
